Happy Mars Retrograde! :D
Mars went retrograde on the 9th of September 2020 and won’t be going direct until November 13 2020, so we have quite a while to work with this sometimes challenging season.
Like with all these retrogrades we always have the choice between losing our shiz over it and buying into the whole “all the bad things will happen” view…
Or, we can choose to work with these retrogrades and challenging cycles rather than against them.
Mars is known as the planet of fire and war, so it won’t be a surprise that people may be a little more fiery and quick to anger than usual. People in your life might be looking for a fight.
You might be looking for a fight, whether you know it or not.
But, Mars is also the planet of victory. It’s all about perception!
This is where our spiritual work comes in. When we get conscious about what we are putting out and what we are letting in we can make empowered choices AND WE CAN BE VICTORIOUS EVEN IN TIMES OF BATTLE.

1. hOW TO HAVE COMPASSION FOR YOURSELF AND OTHERS
Mars retrograde can make people a little more aggressive than usual, that includes you, and me! People may be quick to anger or you may also find yourself getting frustrated with yourself. That’s why compassion is so important at this time. This card will show you how to invoke compassion when you really need it.
2. bATTLES YOU ARE FACING
We all face battles in life, but Mars retrograde can sometimes highlight them. You may find inner battles are being brought to the surface to be seen and moved through. You may be shown relationship battles, or any other battles in your life that Mars retrograde can help you notice, face and move through.
3. wHAT YOU CAN LEARN FROM YOUR REACTIONS
The way we react to things is brought to the surface during a Mars retrograde. Some of our reactions are positive and can help us move through our lives with more ease and peace. Some things push our buttons can send us into a spin. Our reactions often say more about what’s going on with us than with the person or situation that caused that reaction within us. So this Mars retrograde, look at your reactions as your biggest spiritual teachers.
4. How TO BE VICTORIOUS
Mars is the planet of war, but on the flip side of that, it’s also the planet of victory! Now this isn’t about being right or being victorious over others, it’s about being victorious and successful and prosperous in ways that expand out and bring more love and light and joy and inspiration to you and the world around you.
