It's real easy to get jealous of other girls sometimes, but at New Age Hipster HQ when I find out about other women doing awesome things, instead of throwing a tanty I throw a Pyjama Party!! I ask them round for pizza and movies and become besties for life! Forget #FOMO and get #GirlCrushing! #YAY!

<3 Hi Carrie! OMG are you so excited to be at my New Age Hipster Girl Crush Pyjama Party or what?!

I am so excited! I am ready to stay up all night giggling and having a blast. ;) I can’t think of anyone who would be more fun to have a pyjama party with than you. I adore your blog and all that you do!

<3 Aaaw, shucks! What music do you want at the pyjama party?

Well, for the sake of honesty I will admit I am listening (shamelessly) to a playlist of pop music as I talk to you! We’ve got a little Gaga, we’ve got a little Swift. Everything I need to indulge my secret inner pop diva.

<3 OMG I love Taylor! What pyjamas are you going to wear?

I will wear my favourite pair! Picture this: a pink top covered in magenta cats. Oh, and the cats are wearing giant glasses, naturally. I think you would approve, Ms New Age Hipster.

<3 So like, how do you make money to pay for those cool pyjamas and all your awesome clothes and make up and stuff?

I have my own business! I am a mentor, tarot reader and writer. I read tarot cards for people through email and Skype, and I adore my work. I guide people to find inspiration and own their bad assery.

<3 That sounds amazing! How did you get that job?

Long story short: there weren’t any jobs that existed that seemed just right for me, so I had to create my own!

<3 What fun stuff do you like doing on school nights?

Cooking things with lots of vegetables and spices, sitting on my balcony with a book, cuddling on the couch with my husband and our two kitties, daydreaming about my business, and of course: tarot!

<3 How about on the weekend?

Hiking in the Utah mountains, cooking fancier meals, going on road trips, staying up late with friends and of course: even more tarot!

<3 What do you want to be when you grow up?

Flexible! I want to let myself explore loads of different jobs, lifestyles and options. I want to give myself permission to change my mind as many times as I’d like.

<3 I love that idea! So, where do you buy your clothes?

Whole Foods is mostly a grocery store, but they sell clothes as well and I like to buy shirts and leggings there! We have a lot of cool thrift stores where I live, so I get some neat things there, too.

<3 What are your favourite beauty products and/or make up?

I try to use as many natural, gentle, organic products as I can. I use Desert Essence coconut shampoo and it smells just like coconut cream pie! I use Mineral Fusion’s BB Cream nearly every day and it is lovely.

<3 Who does your hair?

I have a good friend who is a hair stylist. She usually cuts my hair and she’s awesome!

<3 I'm getting hungry, what's your favourite pyjama party food and beverages?

Pyjama parties are a good excuse to indulge, but not go TOO overboard! Homemade cookies are a must. And popcorn, of course – with just a little Earth Balance (vegan butter replacement) and smoked paprika sprinkled on top.

<3 Favourite pizza topping?

Roasted garlic, sun dried tomatoes, kalamata olives...I can’t pick just one!

<3 Favourite high school movie?

AS IF I could choose anything other than CLUELESS!

<3 It's getting late so we have to tell ghost stories! Do you believe in ghosts? Have you ever seen one?

I have a complicated relationship with believing in ghosts. Let’s just say I don’t NOT believe, but I haven’t seen one (yet?).

<3 Have you ever had a spooky or paranormal encounter?

A couple of years ago, I was sitting outside reading ‘The Shining’ by Steven King. Just as a character in the book was getting stung by a wasp, a real-life wasp started circling me. It didn’t sting me but it certainly spooked me!

<3 What do you think happens when we die?

I think we are always a part of All That Is and when we die, our ego just transforms.

<3 Who do you think you were in a past life?

I am not sure! I like to think I was an adored house cat at one point.

<3 Meow! What time do you usually go to bed?

Between ten and eleven. I don’t pull many late nights these days!

<3 What do you want to do tomorrow?

Well, since we are having a pyjama party, I’d think sleeping in would be good. And when we wake up we can eat pancakes and spend our time leisurely! And of course, I’m always down for some tarot time.

<3 Who's your girl crush?!

Oh my goodness, I have many. You are one. :) Danielle LaPorte, Tina Fey, and Tori Amos, to name a few.
